Azerbaijani media on Friday reported that Armenian armed forces had violated the ceasefire accord.

They claimed the Armenian side had released gunshots from the village of Azatamut (Ijevan region), opening fire in the direction of Azerbaijani villages of Jafarlu and Jebrayil.

Talking to Tert.am, the spokesman of the Armenian defense minister, David Karapetyan, denied the reports, characterizing them as disinformation.

"The Armenian side and the Armenian armed forces maintain the ceasefire regime," he said.

Senor Hasratyan, the spokesman of Nagorno Karabakh's defense minister said the country's armed forces had not fired gunshots in the direction of Jebrayil village.

"The information is untrue. Karabakh strictly maintains the ceasefire," he told Tert.am.
