Armenian sportsman off for medical check-up

Krasnodar FC has officially confirmed reports on admitting forward Yura Movsisyan to its team.

As the club's official website says, Krasnodar is going to conclude a contract with Denmark's Randers where the Armenian sportsman was formerly playing.

"Popular European clubs such as Denmark's Copenhagen, Spain's Espanol and others were interested in the forward. But he chose Krasnodar. Yura is currently in Germany for a medical check-up and will sign the contract after his return. The forward is expected to join Krasnodar in the second match which will be held in Turkey on February 12-16," says the statement posted on the Russian club's website.

While a forward in the Armenian national team, Movsisyan participated in 5 matches, hitting 3 goals.
