The current social unrest in Egypt has caused US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to postpone her visit to Turkey, the Turkish newspaper Milliyet reported.

Clinton was scheduled to pay a visit to Turkey on February 7 to have meetings with the country's President Abdullah Gul, Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu.

The discussions with Turkish officials were to focus on the Iranian nuclear program, the Turkish-Israeli relations, developments in the Middle East, as well as Iraq, Kurdistan's Workers' Party, Cyprus, Afghanistan and the Armenian-Turkish rapprochement.
