Armenian premier comments on report about his former advisor

Recent reports in the Armenia media have accused Serob Ter-Poghosyan, a former advisor to the Armenian prime minister, of pedophilia.

Ter-Poghosyan also is the owner of the Akhtala Mine Enrichment Plant and member of the public council of the Armenian Police.

Addressing the controversial reports, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said he would make sure that a speedy, comprehensive and transparent probe is launched into the case.

"I can't find proper words to express my anger," the premier wrote in his LiveJournal blog.

"I am sure those guilty will be held strictly accountable."
