Snow storm hits country's highways, closes Selim pass

Heavy snowfalls have hit the entire territory of Armenia since morning. As the Ministry of Transport and Communication told Tert.am, the Selim mountain pass has been closed.

The highway to the town of Berd and the mountain pass on the way to Tchambarak village are covered with a thick layer of ice.

The snowstorm has also hit highways to Aparan and Amasia. A strong wind has risen in Maralik.
