Armenian Studies Institute launches new website
The Armenian Studies Institute of the Yerevan State University has created an online database providing precise information on the Armenian language and history, Pcnews.am reported.
The new web resource available at www.armin.am introduces visitors not only to the Institute's activities but also to classical and modern Armenian values.
"The website was launched in December 2009. After some technical redesigning, it continues updating its content with materials considered valuable in terms of Armenology. We have created an electronic data base of Armenian history. Visitors can be easily redirected to the pages they need by following links," Head of the Virtual Armenology and Information Department Mher Hovhanisyan said.
The site also contains materials on Armenological studies, articles and archive documents, historical maps and pictures which are being regularly updated. All the materials can be accessed free of charge and will be soon available in the Russian and English languages.
