Armenian sculptor David Bejanyan passed away

Well-known Armenian sculptor David Bejanyan passed away on Monday morning, the Ministry of Culture told Tert.am.
Bejanyan died from a heart attack.

Among his widely-known works is the statue of famous Armenian composer Arno Babajanyan, located near the Swan Lake close to the Opera House.

David Bejanyan was the husband of the Armenian singer Nadezhda Sargsyan, and the father of singer Emmy who will represent Armenia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011.
