Yerevan to host premiere performance of Sayat Nova opera

The Yerevan State Opera and Ballet Theater is opening its new season with an enriched repertoire.

It is staging Sayat Nova opera by Alexander Harutyunyan.

The performances will run between March 6 and 9.

The new piece of opera art consists of three acts. The author of the libretto is Hakob Khanjyan. Stage conductor is Yuri Davtyan, stage director is Aram Sukiasyan, and stage designer is Araksi Sukiasyan. The opera stagings will be run by choir master Karen Sargsyan and conductor Karen Lavchyan.
