Lara Fabian promises to sing in Armenian during next visit

Famous Belgian singer Lara Fabian said it was a great honor for her to be in Armenia and promised to sing in Armenian while visiting the country next time.

Fabian, who is in Armenia in the framework of the days of Francophonia, said traveling in other countries is a good chance to learn the culture of other people, other nations and get familiarized with their values.

“It’s a great honor for me to be in Armenia within these days [of Francophonia],” she said at a press conference in Armenia’s Foreign Ministry.

Lara Fabian will have a concert in Karen Demirchyan Complex in Yerevan.

She also said that she has not had any chance to get acquainted with the works of Armenian song-writers.

However, she said she would like to work with famous French-Armenian singer Charles Aznavur who is currently Armenia’s ambassador to Switzerland.
She also said she would have no time for sightseeing in Armenia due to her tight schedule.
