System of a Down auction to aid Japanese survivors

The Los Angeles-based Armenian rock group System of a Down has launched an online charity auction to aid the Japanese survivors.

The group offers its concert tickets on the eBay website. Those purchasng the tickets are also offered to dine with the group's drummer John Dolmayan.

System of a Down is planning concerts in South America and Europe in May-June 2011.

The tickets of some concerts have already been sold out, while those for festival events have not been offered for sale.

One of the group's concerts will take place on June 21 in Moscow's Olympiyski stadium.

The auction will run through May 10.
