Yerevan to host drawn strips festival

Armenia will host a drawn strips festival for three days in May aimed at boosting this specific art in the country.

Titled “Drawn Strips Fireworks,” the festival will last from 6-8 May.

The festival is organized by the Union of Drawn Strips Development in Armenia with the help of Armenia’s Ministry of Culture, and the sponsorship of Armenia’s leading mobile operator VivaCell-MTS.

As part of the festival, internationally recognized craftsmen of this type of art will deliver master classes during those days.

Exhibitions and a screening of a film will also be part of the festival which will be attended by many outstanding personalities in the sphere.
