9 student-artists’ pieces will be donated to Karabakh

Pieces by nine Yerevan-based artists and sculptors currently exhibited at Armenia’s State Museum of History will be donated to the State Gallery of Artsakh (Karabakh).

According to a press release by the Yerevan Municipality, currently 150 works by 98 authors are being exhibited at Armenia’s State Museum of History.

The exhibit will last till May 22.

The authors of those works are students at the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts, Yerevan State University of Pedagogy and the State College of Art after Terlemezyan.

The jure will select the best works by nine participants and will donate them to the State Gallery of Artsakh.

Authors of the best works will be granted with diplomas and prize money by the Pyunik Foundation.

“The goal of the initiative is to establish a unique bridge for enhancing the cultural ties between the youth creating pieces of arts in Yerevan and the capital of the Nagorno Karabakh,” read the press release.
