Premier meets heads of Regional Communication Cooperation agencies

Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received today the heads of the Regional Communication Cooperation agencies.

Greeting the guests, the premier highly appreciated their initiative to choose Yerevan as a place for meetings. He expressed hope that the discussions on the development of the telecommunications sector will be effective and fruitful.

The meeting was attended by Russian, Belarus and Kazakh Telecommunication Ministers Igor Shoglev, Nikolay Panteley and Askar Askar Dzhumagaliev, as well as specialists in the sector.

PM Sargsyan Sargsyan briefed the guests on the existing problems in the sphere. He particularly focused on the development of a broadband Internet Infrastructures and postal management, as well as the possibility of adopting a united roaming policy.

The telecommunication officials and experts exchanged views on the problems raised, proposing their approaches.
