Fayton Alec comedy goes on stage in Yerevan

Yerevan hosted the premiere of Fayton Alec theatrical comedy on Sunday.

The performance, staged at the Hakob Paronyan Musical Comedy Theatre, was dedicated to the 100th birthday of the 20th century famous Armenian writer, poet and translator, Khachik Dashtents, who is the author of the namesake poem.

The stage director and designer is Hakob Ghazanchyan; the playwright is Robert Kocharyan.

The setting of the story is in Gyumri. The main hero is the town's famous coach driver – Alec -whose character is portrayed by Samvel Grigoryan, an actor from the Gyumri theatre.

The entire performance is accompanied by songs, dances, music and humor. It will soon go on stage in Gyumri.
