Junior Eurovision 2011 launches call for applications

Junior Eurovision 2011 has launched a call for proposals.

The deadline for submitting applications for the qualifier is July 20.

All the children who are citizens of Armenia or have lived in the country within the past 2.5 years are eligible to apply, says a statement on Eurovision Armenia's official website.

This year's Junior Eurovision will take place on December 3 at the Yerevan Sports and Concert Complex.

It comes after Vladimir Arzumanyan, Armenia's representative in the 2010 contest, won the first place with his song Mama.
