David of Sasun in Turkish

"David of Sasun", an Armenian national epic poem, has been translated into Turkish. In a interview with Anadoglu news agency, the author of the Turkish translation, Memet Yilmaz of the Kilis University said that, before starting his translation in 2009, he visited Batman and did some research.

Mr. Yilmaz entitled his translation "David of Sasun and its connection with Turkish culture."
