Etchmiadzin published Malkhasyan's book on metal covers

The Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin has published a book by Armen Malkhasyan that incorporates artifacts held in Etchmiadzin's museum.

Titled "Double Covers of Holy Etchmiadzin," the book presents double-layered metal book covers made from 15th to 20th century.

According to the website of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin the metal covers bear inscriptions considered as important sources information for this type of art, as well as for the history of the Armenian language and other important issues.

The book has been published through the sponsorship of the Sargis Gabrielyan Foundation.
