Free WiFi internet in Yerevan Zoo

Armenia’s leading mobile phone operator VivaCell-MTS has said it will provide free WiFi internet access in the territory of Yerevan Zoo.

The WiFi will have a 10 megabit per second uploading and downloading speed.

Thanks to this WiFi access the zoo will be able to run its interactive map that will help visitors orientate in the zoo and receive additional information about the zoo and its inhabitants.

Part of the project will be the establishment of a small online library in the zoo where visitors can trough WiFi internet get information about wild nature, animals, as well as watch photos, videos and films.

The company has also installed a web camera in the cage of the White swan. The camera will be tested on July 29, during the introduction of the WiFi internet.
