Aznavur’s concert to celebrate Armenia’s 20th anniversary of independence

Famous Armenian singer Charles Aznavur will have a concert in Paris as part of celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, the chief coordinator of the festivities has said.

Unveiling the program of the celebrations dedicated to the Independence Day, Vigen Sargsyan, who is the Chief of Staff at the presidential administration, said that festivities will be organized in other diasporan communities too.

Among such countries Sargsyan mentioned Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France and other countries that have larges Armenian communities.

Part of celebrations will be concerts and exhibitions.

Further, Sargsyan said that President Serzh Sargsyan will attend some of those celebrations.

Foreign diplomats and other officials will also be invited, he said, adding that the presidential administration will inform about the agenda of the official visits later.
