Center of Noncommercial Cinema to open branch in Batumi

The Center of Armenian Noncommercial Cinema is going to open a branch in Batumi, Georgia.

The Center's director, Artashes Hovhannisyan, who has left for Georgia on this occasion, has met with the students and cinema critics of the town.

According to the Georgian news agency Gruzia Online, local Armenians and representatives of the Armenian Consulate, and the Armenian Apostolic Church, as well as the organizers of the Batumi International Art House Film Festival (BIAFF) also attended the meeting.

The new branch will deal with the development of non-commercial short-length films.
