Armenia’s second mobile operator ArmenTel said it has fixed the problem of the internet cable coming from the neighboring Georgia within the planned period.

Speaking to Tert.am, Anush Beghloyan, the company’s spokesperson, said that the problem was fixed at around 2pm and that the internet access has been resumed.

“Not all of our customers were cut off the internet, but there were complaints about the speed of the access,” she said.

“The problem was solved in the planned period and the internet access was resumed. But it should be understood that some 30-40 minutes are required for the access to resume completely after the technical resumption,” Anush Beghloyan explained.
