Armenian brainstormers success in Brain Ring international competition
The Restart team (Yerevan), What? Where? When? intellectual game champion of Armenia, is the only foreign team of the four teams that played in the Year Finals of the Brain Ring game show on Public Television of Belarus.
Tigran Kocharyan, Captain of the Restart team and Chairman of the Armenian Association of Brainstormers, reported that the International Cup of Public TV of the Belarus competition was video recorded in Minsk on Sept. 5. Thirty teams from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Armenia and Azerbaijan participated in the competition.
Three Armenian teams participated in the competition: Armada-Beeline (children's team), Arman Abovyan's TV team and Restart team.
After winning a series of games, the Restart team became the only foreign team to take part in the Year Finals.
Tigran Kocharyan said that Armenia's Ministry of Education and Science and Minister Armen Ashotyan sponsored the team's participation in the What? Where? When? world championship and in the Brain Ring competition in Minsk.
