5th festival of classical music to open in Armenia

The 5th festival of classical music Return is to begin at the Yerevan Opera on October 4. Armenian and foreign musicians will perform at the festival.

"Our mission is discovering new talents and presenting them to our audience," Mariam Shahinyan, the festival organizer, told journalists.

Year by year, the festival is held on a larger-scale. At the initial stage, the festival organizers were looking for talented musicians, whereas musicians themselves are now proposing cooperation to the festival.

The opening ceremony of the festival is to be held at 7:00 pm. Ashot Khachaturyan and Hrachya Avansyan will perform Frederic Chopin and Tchaikovsky.
