Sarkozy to attend opening of Aznavour's house-museum in Yerevan

In the course of his official visit to Armenia, French President Nicolas Sarkozy will attend the opening of Charles Aznavour's house-museum.

According to press release by the presidential office, the French leader is expected to donate Jule Bastien's statue (by French sculptor Auguste Rodin) to Armenia at the ceremony.

The official visit agenda also envisages meetings with President Serzh Sargsyan and Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II. Sarkozy is also expected to visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan's Tsitsernakaberd Park to pay tribute to the Genocide victims.
