Armenian FM awarded Grand Officer Medal of French Legion of Honour

On the occasion of French President Nicolas Sarkozy's visit to Armenia, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian was awarded a Grand Officer Medal of the National Order of the Legion of Honour (Ordre national de la Légion d'honneur).

The French Embassy in Armenia reports that Armenian Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan, Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan and Armenian Ambassador to France Mr. Vigen Tchitechian received French government awards for their contribution to Armenian-French relations.
