State Youth Orchestra of Armenia to have concert in Yerevan

State Youth Orchestra of Armenia will have a concert in Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall on October 15 after completing a European tour.

Performing in the concert will also be prominent soloists Hrachya Avanesyan, Hayrapet Arakelyan and Artemi Cholokyan.

Sergei Smbatyan, Art Director of the orchestra, said he is much more enthusiastic about the fact that during all the four concerts held in Europe on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Armenia’s independence the halls were overcrowded and not only by Armenians but mainly by Europeans.

Smbatyan is sure that a small country like Armenia can gain worldwide recognition through its culture, especially by classic music.

The State Youth Orchestra of Armenia has returned from the European tour with a lot of invitations: they are expected to attend several festivals and go for other tours abroad in the neat future.
