Armenian photographers win 3rd International Festival of Photography PHOTOVISA

Armenian photographers won the first four places at the 3rd International Festival of Photography PHOTOVISA, held in Krasnodar, Russia.

Eighteen of 350 applicants had been selected for participation in the festival, four Armenians among them: Inna Mkhitaryan (On the Road Towards Better Life), Anahit Hayrapetyan (Katarine's road of life), Nazik Armenakyan (Another way) and Hayk Bianjyan (Disappearing memories).

On Oct. 23, they went to Krasnodar to take part in the awards ceremony.

Photographers from Russia, the Ukraine, Poland, Italy, Brazil, China, Spain, Slovakia, Holland and Denmark participated in the Festival.

The four Armenian participants were announced among the nine winners, the Armenians winning two first, one second and one third place, Inna Mkhitaryan told Tert.am.

The Armenia photographers were announced winners in the following categories:

The Road - Hayrapetyan Anahit (Armenia, Yerevan), Katarine's Road of Life, series (1st place)

Man and Environment - Armenakyan Nazik (Armenia, Yerevan), Another Way, series (1st place); Biandzhan Aik (Armenia, Yerevan), Disappearing Memories, series (2nd place)

The Roads of North Caucasus - Mkhitaryan Inna (Armenia, Yerevan), On the Road Towards Better Life, series (3rd place).
