Armenian producer says organizers to be held responsible for failure

The producer of the Armenian pop singer Arame has said organizers of a recent concert will be punished with all the strictness of the law for poor organization.

“Of course, we have a contract, and they will still be held responsible,” said Armen Amiryan.

It comes after reports which said during Arame’s recent concert the stage and the big screens collapsed.

“I am surprised at the media outlets: instead of reporting that Arame had a brilliant concert with a high-level performance, they report that the stage collapsed, the screens fell down, there was only 500 audience in the 8000-seat hall,” said Amiryan.

“Yes, it happened and it is very unpleasant. But it is the fault of the organizers,” Armen Amiryan added.

Asked about the organizers, Amiryan declined commenting, saying they are currently in negotiations.
