Apple co-founder Steven Wozniak honorary doctor of State Engineering University

The Yerevan State Engineering University hosted today a special reception in honor of Apple Co-Founder Steven Wozniak and his wife, Janette.

Appreciating Wozniak's remarkable contribution to the development of the IT and High Tech industry, the University's Academic Council bestowed the title of honorary doctor upon the scholar.

In his speech, Wozniak said it was a big honor for him to be in Armenia. He noted that the university had a great importance for him, like any other engineering institution in any world country. Expressing his love for computers, he said he had started programming since the Cold War era, a period that made him realize that responding to the enemy's blow does not necessarily imply a similar reaction.
