Cultural revolution Armenia's salvation – Ashot Manucharyan

By and large, three political ideologies are in effect in Armenia – the national, Anglo-Saxon and Russian ones, Ashot Manucharyan, an ex-member of the Karabakh committee, told journalists in Yerevan, Nov. 24.

According to him, the first, national, ideology, is represented by small groups, waiting for their time. They are the ones that will put forward realistic ideas that will serve as a basis for leading the country out of the crisis. Armenia's incumbent authorities are influenced by the Anglo-Saxon ideology. The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) is influenced by the Russian ideology, which, by means of "Eurasian ideas" – economic and geopolitical projects - is trying to establish control.

The recent resignations should be viewed in this context – the Anglo-Saxon ideology is getting rid of its Russian rival.

"Armenia will enter its golden age through the bottom point, by means of a cultural revolution rather than a political one," Manucharyan said.
