Genocide 100th anniversary commemoration begins

Cultural events set to mark the 100^th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide are getting under way.

The Aram Khachatryan Concert Hall will host the opening of a large-scale program aimed at organizing one hundred concerts in Armenia and abroad, bringing together Armenian and internationally acclaimed musicians.

At today's concert, the Unicef childrens' choir will perform the Armenian classical music for the audience. The next concert is due in Germany.

Genocide commemoration events are also scheduled in the regions of Armenia, and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
