Dairy company's lawyer denies allegations on milk bacteria
Armfood company's dairy products are bacteria free, according to a lawyer representing the company's interests.
At a news conference on Wednesday, Director of the Lev Group legal firm Levon Baghdassryan denied recent reports on the presence of staphylococcus in Armfood's milk.
"On November 4, different TV channels informed the public, on behalf of the Agriculture Ministry's relevant subdivision, that ABC Soft company's (brand: Amrfood) milk purchased from a food store was found to contain staphylococcus. Samples of Artfood's milk – both raw and pasteurized - were immediately sent to laboratories," he said, adding that subsequent tests revealed no bacteria.
Baghdasaryan said the statement was a blow to the company's reputation and was aimed at ousting it from the market.
