Junior Eurovision participants impressed by Armenia

The young singers who have come to Armenia to participate in the Junior Eurovision 2011 Song Contest have already managed to see several sights and exhibitions in the country, and attend special receptions and entertainment events.

Speaking to reporters on Thursday, Russia's representative, Katya Ryabova, said she is greatly impressed both by the Armenia, and the warm reception she found here.

"I have never been in such a warm environment. We are very friendly. Every day, we conduct rehearsals, and dance and dine together," she said.

In addition to the scheduled events, the young singers have also attended special Eurovision dinner parties which finish with beautiful discos for children.

Receiving the young contestants earlier today, Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II gave them his blessings.

The Junior Eurovision 2011 Song Contest is due at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Complex Center on December 3. The dress rehearsal is scheduled for tomorrow.
