Yerevan Mayor meets Junior Eurovision participants

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the participants of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2011 on Friday ahead of the main concert to be held on Saturday in Yerevan.

“I am sure the repertoire of the contest that citizens of various countries admire every year, will provide the entire world with joy and pleasure this year too,” Margaryan was quoted by his press service as telling the participants.

“I wish success to all our talented little ones and hope that you will take the warmth of Yerevan with you and will certainly want to visit our city again,” Margaryan added,

Gohar Gasparyan, Head of the Armenian delegation, in turn, said at the meeting that the guests are impressed and enthusiastic about Yerevan.

“Most of them liked our city so much that they have expressed their desire to return to Yerevan,” said Gasparyan.

The meeting was attended also by Vladimir Arzumanyan, the Armenian participant who won at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2010.
