Karavik Armenian dance group performs in Beirut

The Kakavik Armenian dance group gave a brilliant performance at the Hovhannes Poghosyan concert hall in Beirut, Dec 4.

The group management informed Tert.am that it was the group's second performance on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Paruir Sevak branch of the All-National Armenian Educational and Cultural Union. The group gave its first performance at the Galus Gyulbenkyan cultural center, Nov. 19.

The Karavik group performed Armenian, Arab, Greek, European and Romany dances.

The Karavik dance group has 65 dancers of four age brackets. Gayane Matsutyan is artistic director of the group.
