Google translates ‘I love Armenia’ as 'I love Turkey'

Google’s online translation service is translating “Ես սիրում եմ հայերին” (I love Armenians) to “I love Turkey.”

According to the Armenian Weekly, the mistranslation was pointed out to us by Lebanese Armenian activist Serouj Baghdassarian.

The translation issue was resolved by late afternoon on February 19, following an active online campaign by activists who read this report.
