New Chinese buses to be presented in Yerevan (photos)

A new consignment of passenger buses imported from People's Republic of China were driven to Yerevan’s central square in the morning for a ceremony to be attended by President Serzh Sargsyan.

The Chinese government  was earlier reported to have presented 249 buses to the capital city. A Chinese delegation has arrived in Yerevan to attend the ceremony.

Mayor Taron Margaryan received the Chinese guests on Friday to discuss technical issues related to the operation of the vehicles. 

Some of the buses are expected to be put into operation starting from today.
