Fourth all-Armenian tournament of young chemists kicks off

Ayb Educational Foundation is announcing the launch of the Fourth All Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists. Packages with invitations to participate in the contest have been sent to more than 220 schools with 9-12 graders.

In order to participate in the tournament, teams should send their completed applications to chemtour@ayb.am before June 1.

This is the fourth year that Ayb Educational Foundation organizes this interesting tournament for young enthusiasts of chemistry in Armenia.

This year, the tournament will be held in three stages: a quarter final to be held in the first half of June, as well as semi-finals and a final that will take place this October, during the school fall holidays.

The All Armenian Tournament of Young Chemists is an interactive team competition where 9-12 graders solve various interesting chemistry problems, debate over scientific topics, make their first scientific discoveries.

The jury comprises professors from Yerevan State University, State Engineering University of Armenia and State Pedagogical University of Armenia, young scientists, teachers, and other specialists.
