Driver dies in hospital after his car appears in underground passage in Yerevan

A BMW X5 model-car plunged off the road in the Garegin Nzhdeh square in Yerevan and flying 30 meters hit the stone fence appearing in underground passage of the metro station.

The driver of the car D. Hayrapetyan, 26, died in the hospital.

Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry official said according to initial hypothesis the accident occurred because of speeding.
