Ucom Internet services available in Armenia’s Tsakhkadzor

The Ucom company’s services are now available in Tsakhkadzor, Kotayk region, Armenia, and the company already has 100 users there.

At a discussion with media outlets and bloggers in Tsakhkadzor, Ucom Director Haik Yesayan said that the company is consistent in making Internet communication available throughout Armenia.

“We will soon ensure Internet coverage in public places in Tsakhkadzor. We also plan Internet coverage in Nagorno-Karabakh. After we finish the work in Meghri we will launch projects in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Yesayan said.

Ucom also plans to ensure Internet coverage in Masis before the end of this year, with Internet communication to be available in the entire Ararat region at the end of 2013.

Despite the rise in the gas and electricity prices, Ucom has no intention to raise its Internet communication prices.

The company’s share in the Yerevan Internet service market is 25%, and it plans to increase it up to 35%.

“We have 55,000 users throughout Armenia,” Yesayan said.
