An ethnic Armenian has been crowned as Miss Universe Uruguay 2014

Johana Riva Garabetian  was crowned at the conclusion of the event held at the Punta Del Este Arenas Hotel & Resort in Chihuahua on January 19th, 2014. She will represent Uruguay in theMiss Universe 2014 pageant, Beauty Pageant News reported.

Johana Riva Garabetian of Montevideo is 23 years old and stands 1.74 m. She is not a stranger to beauty pageants, having represented Uruguay in the Miss Atlántico Internacional 2010 pageant in Uruguay where she was the title of Miss Photogenic, reports the website.
