LG named most innovative company of 2014
LG has been named Most Innovative Device Manufacturer of the Year at the Global Mobile Awards by industry body GSMA, the Telegrap reported.
The company has showcased no less than eight smartphones at this year's Mobile World Congress, including the G Pro 2, G Flex, G2 mini, F70, F Series and L Series.
The Gro Pro 2 is the first PLG smartphone to feature a 13MP camera with optical image stabiliser plus technology - allowing you to stabilise the focus when taking a photo to reduce blurring.
LG is no stranger to prestigious awards - LG's G2 beat Apple's iPhone to be named smartphone of 2013 at Stuff magazine's awards last December.
The South Korean company, which retains a market share of just under five per cent, was recently overtaken by Huawei Technologies. It made a loss in the three months to December of 2013 and has invested heavily in advertising in an attempt to narrow the gap between market leaders Samsung and Apple.
