Armenian PM promises special attention to IT sector

Armenia’s prime minister has promised the government’s best efforts to keep the IT sector under a special spolight.

At a working dinner with representatives of IT companies, Hovik Abrahamyan was briefed on the prospects, plans and principal trends of developing the sector in Armenia, reports the Government’s press service.

The sides mutually stressed the importance of training programs for future specialists, as well as activities towards developing the IT industries in the regions.

The premier said that the state is interested in continuing the close cooperation with IT companies.

It was agreed that the companies would collaborate with the Government on the implementation of programs to be submitted in future,
