The 6th congress of traumatologists and orthopedists of Armenia has opened in Yerevan.
Armenia’s Minister of Health Armen Muradyan welcomed the congress.
“I am glad to welcome medical authorities from the United States, Europe, Asia, as well as from the post-Soviet states, who are participating in the congress,” Minister Muradyan said.
“As far back as 1976, bone matrix was first used in the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedy of Armenia. And it is now widely used throughout the world,” Muradyan said.
In 1990s, the Armenian Association of Traumatologists and Orthopedists greatly contributed to the achievements in the field. And it is now a member of the European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (EFORT).
