Russian-Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan to attend hearing of appeal, Moscow City Court rules

Russian-Armenian businessman Levon Hayrapetyan, who is charged with money laundering, has refused to attend the hearing of his own appeal against his arrest by the Moscow City Court.

“I feel very bad, and doctor is standing to make an injection if I need it. I trust my lawyers,” Mr Hayrapetyan said.

Lawyer Henri Reznik noted that Mr Hayrapetyan’s disease may cause a fit and serious consequences.

However, the Moscow City Court ruled that Mr Hayrapetyan is supposed to attend the hearing.
