Amazon to launch its first offline store
Online marketplace Amazon is planning to launch a Physical store in New York City, iamwire.com reports.
The company’s first brick-and-mortar retail chain is expected to be open in holiday-shopping season. If the firm gets a positive result, then it may expand to other cities. Amazon has also looking eyes to set up pop-up stores in malls.
According to WSJ , the site will support same-day delivery, returns and order pickups within New York. The Manhattan location would function as a “mini-warehouse” for same-day delivery in New York, product returns and pickups of online orders, said the report.
