Apple to unveil iPad Air 2, retina iMac later today

Apple is set to unveil the iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3, Retina iMac, OS X Yosemite and possibly a new Apple TV or Mac Mini later today, keep up with the news, rumours, build-up and announcements on our live blog, The Independent reports.

Expected to be much more low key than the server-crashing launch of the iPhone 6, the event takes place in Cupertino at 10am California time (6pm UK time) and will most likely be centred around slimmer iPads and faster operating systems.

The keynote speeches will be broadcast online by Apple, so you can watch the unveiling through the iTunes app of any iPhone iPad or iPod Touch or stream it on Apple.com.
