Armenian education minister meets with WB official in London

Armenia’s minister of education and science has met with World Bank’s Director for Education on the sidelines of an international ministerial conference in London.


Thanking Armen Ashotyan for the visit and the effective and consistent implementation of joint projects,  Claudia Costa expressed willingness to start an active cooperation with Armenia to assist in future reforms.


For his part, Mr Ashotyan briefed Ms Costa on the implementation and outcomes of the WB loan programs.


“The Armenian Government and the Ministry of  Education and Science are investing every possible effort in creating and developing an education system in line with international standards, both in structure and content. We need successful examples of cooperation that would serve as a basis for drawing up and implementing new projects,” he said, sharing his positive hopes for a successful cooperation with the WB.
