Joomag to collaborate with Getty Images, bringing millions of premium images to online editor
Joomag, the pioneer of rich and interactive digital publishing, today announced a collaboration with Getty Images, the world's leading visual communications company, for a complete Digital Publishing solution, giving its publishers access to millions of high-quality creative and editorial images for use online, finance.yahoo.com reports.
Joomag's one-of-a-kind professional editor provides an easy way for creating digital interactive publications. Publishers like The Huffington Post use it for creating its weekly magazines from scratch. This new integration with Getty Images will allow publishers to focus on content creation, rather than finding the right media. All publishers using the Joomag platform will be able to license and use Getty Images premium editorial and creative images in a matter of seconds without leaving the editor, all at affordable and competitive rates. It will be possible to preview how the photos will look in the magazine before licensing.
The collaboration will enable users access to the very best images in news, sport, entertainment, archival and creative imagery through Getty Images' API.
"It is imperative that our publishers have high-quality content available for their magazines on demand.
This partnership will guarantee it," says Ruben Vardanyan, CEO of Joomag. "Through this collaboration with Getty Images, millions of editorial premium images are available right at their fingertips."
