Armenia, Benin to ink scientific-educational cooperation deal

Armenia’s cabinet on Thursday approved a proposal for signing a scientific-educational cooperation agreement with the Republic of Benin.

Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said that the deal is aimed at fostering ties in the sector and offering scholarships.

“This is going to be the first ever agreement from an African country, I mean below Sahara – the Black Africa so to say,” he noted.
